One size doesn't fit it all
In most software or web design projects, there is a common need to visualize terms unique to the particular software application or web site. As the subjects to describe in a visual language are so specific, most often no stock icon can be found that fits well, or it must not get modified to fit better. One size just doesn't fit it all: A custom-made icon is needed.

Today's customers are used to the high quality visual standard presented by the Windows® 7 operating system and other graphically optimized applications. Those icons are extremely complex graphical objects, combining lots of extensive visual effects like spots, diffusion, reflections, transparency, shadows, etc., making icon design a highly sophisticated task. To fulfil this challenge, all our icons are completely designed and painted solely by designers graduated from renowned German universities.
Affordable Services for SOHO through SMB
Thanks to our reduced management overhead and optimized technical processes, we are able to offer our services at rather inexpensive and such affordable standard rates. In particular, we are offering two distinct pricing models, fitting the needs of the whole span of companies, from small office to medium and enterprise businesses: A time based model and a single draft all-inclusive model. Moreover, we are offering different types of rebates to our particular discretion.
Pricing Models
Time Based Model ("Pay Per Work Hour")
In the time based model, all design steps, like preparing and discussing a draft, sketching vectors, rendering bitmaps in different sizes and color dephts, adding effects, finishing pixels, packaging in different file formats and so on, are charged solely by the gross time spent into the project. The standard rate is 45 € per started hour. Since you will get informed on the spent hours on a frequent basis, you have full control of your costs and can stop whenever you want.
The time based model is ideal in cases you want to have full control of the target design, e. g. by discussing different drafts or special technical needs not covered by the single draft all-inclusive model.
Single Draft All-Inclusive Model ("Pay Per Icon")
Many customers do not want to participate in the design process, as they prefer to rely completely on our experience. This reduces management and communication overhead by far, and optimizes the design process flow. As a result, this model offers the opportunity to charge only 75 € per icon.
Certainly for such an attractive price it is not possible to do any later modifications. This means, we will provide one draft, vectorize it, pixel it, and package it in the default .ico and .png formats (16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 256x256). There will be no discussions or modifications included. Any communication besides receiving your order and sending back the final icon files, presentations, discussion, meetings, additional drafts, other file formats or sizes, as demanded by the customer, will get charged for 45 € per started hour, according to the time based model. In addition, to further reduce overhead and thus costs, this model is offered prepaid only.

Rebate for Stock Icon Adoption
Without further negotiations, your ordered custom icon and all created working materials is exclusively yours. That means: All artifacts created during the complete process, like drafts, sketches or vector files, belong exclusively to you and will neither get used nor kept by us for later projects. Not every customer needs this exclusiveness. Many icons are not so special that no other customer will ever be able to use it. This offers the possibility for rebates. If we decide that an icon is qualified to become a stock icon, and if you agree to this non-exclusive use, we will grant a rebate of up to 25% of that icon's overall price.
Rebate for Reference Customers
For prospective customers it is always interesting to have a list of reference customers. If you allow us to use your reputable and renowned name and logo in our reference customers list, we can decide to reduce the price by up to 10%.
Rebate for Reference Icons
Certainly, a custom icon typically is by default confidential. But before buy, you want to see some examples of actual previously designed custom icons. To solve this, we may offer to reduce an icon's price by up to 10% if we may publish it as an example for custom icons. Still the icon must not be used by anybody else but you, it just is shown in our marketing materials. Your name will not get told unless you agree to serve as a reference customer.
Buy Ten, Get Eleven (Volume Discount)
We think that quality matters more than quantity, so we do not provide volume discounts. On the other hand, we certainly want to say "Thank You!" if you order complete sets of icons. As a thank-you offer for ordering ten icons, we will provide one icon for free (Note: The free icon will be handled using the single draft all-inclusive model and you agree that we may adopt it as a stock icon sold to other customers on our descrition).
